Dipl.-Ing. Philine Schneider is an architect, urbanist, independent curator and mediator of education in building culture in Berlin.

In her work, she focuses on the development of inclusive design practices and the communication of urban design issues through architecture, urban planning, exhibitions, publications and workshops for children, young people and adults using the means of artistic research. The city can always be experienced, re-narrated and re-understood through art and experiments.

She is co-founder of the architecture studio ROSA and deputy director of the Berlin Freiraumlabor, an initiative for the design of sustainable and inclusive urban spaces and practices. She is a former member of the Berlin-based artist collective Guerilla Architects, an artist collective that focuses on political, legal and spatial grey areas in their spatial interventions and socially critical art projects.

She is teaching urbanism and pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Urban Planning at the Institute for Urban Development at the University of Kassel, where she investigates, amongst other things, the geographical and (urban) spatial dimensions of coliving spaces.
